Akshaya Trust, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to transforming the lives of destitute senior citizens in Chennai. In addition to providing free old age homes, the Trust also focuses on education, employment opportunities, and skill development.

Akshaya Trust was founded by Mr. G.Gopalan in 2001 and currently houses 225+ seniors in five homes, providing them with food, medical care, and a loving environment. Akshaya Trust is unique in its approach, offering celebrations throughout the year, outings and tours, complete care for bed-ridden residents, and professional finance management.
